Kelalaian memakai helm pengaman menjadi salah satu penyebab utama meningkatnya angka kecelakaan.

Dalam industri konstruksi, perbaikan manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terus diupayakan. Namun, tetap terjadi peningkatan 4,5% jumlah kematian pekerja di lokasi konstruksi pada tahun 2019 dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya.

Baru-baru ini, pentingnya keselamatan pekerja dalam industri konstruksi telah menjadi isu yang menonjol, dan Kementerian Tenaga Kerja telah menetapkan tujuan untuk mengurangi kematian akibat kecelakaan industri hingga setengahnya sebelum akhir tahun 2022. Perbaikan kelembagaan dan hukum sedang diupayakan , dan kebutuhan akan keamanan sedang ditekankan. Analisis kecelakaan konstruksi berdasarkan bagian tubuh menunjukkan bahwa bagian kepala (161 orang, 41,2%) dan beberapa bagian tubuh (123 orang, 31,5%) adalah yang paling sering terluka di antara kecelakaan konstruksi yang fatal.

Safety Helmets

Failure to wear safety helmets seems to be one of the major causes of the increase in accidents.

In construction industry, legal and institutional safety management improvements are continually being pursued. However, there was a 4.5% increase in the number of workers’ deaths at construction sites in 2019 compared to the previous year.

Recently, the importance of worker safety in the construction industry has become a prominent issue, and the Ministry of Employment and Labor has set a goal of reducing deaths due to industrial accidents by half before the end of 2022. Institutional and legal improvements are being pursued, and the need for safety is being emphasized. An analysis of construction accidents by body part showed that the head (161 people, 41.2%) and multiple body parts (123 people, 31.5%) were the most frequently injured, and among the fatal construction accidents.
